Accounts Payable Specialist

Hunt Valley, MD (In-office then Hybrid capability)

Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 base salary up to ~7.5% performance-based bonus

A growing, privately owned company in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both structure and variety, as you’ll manage and own key accounts payable functions and assist with various payroll projects. Accounts Payable Specialist Job Duties

• Process and code vendor invoices accurately
• Maintain vendor records and support 1099 reporting
• Manage corporate credit card reconciliations and auto-pay programs
• Process employee expense reimbursements
• Reconcile AP-related general ledger accounts and prepare accruals
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Assist with special projects and provide support to leadership
  
  

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of general ledger processes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Payroll certification is a plus
