Key Responsibilities for Accounting Supervisor
- Supervise and lead professional, technical, and clerical accounting staff
- Oversee countywide accounting operations and financial systems
- Monitor and ensure compliance for grants and financial reporting
- Assist auditors and support audit examinations
- Evaluate and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Apply governmental accounting standards with professionalism and independence
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
- 4 years of full-time accounting experience, some being governmental
- At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheet and financial systems
Salary : $77,000 - $95,000
