- The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations within a manufacturing‑driven environment.
- Lead cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and production margin reviews.
- Manage all aspects of inventory accounting, ensuring accuracy, controls, and timely reporting. The Accounting Manger will have one direct report down the line.
- Drive the monthly and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement support.
- Collaborate with production, supply chain, sales, and leadership teams to ensure accurate financial data and strong operational alignment.
- Serve as a key contributor in the transition from AS400 to Microsoft Dynamics, including process mapping, testing, data validation, and system optimization.
- Evaluate and improve accounting policies, procedures, and reporting tools.
- As Accounting Manager, you will provide guidance and mentorship to accounting team members.
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience, strongly preferred within manufacturing.
- Expertise in cost accounting and inventory management.
- ERP implementation experience; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and operational accounting best practices.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work fully onsite in a fast‑paced environment.
