A growing, multi-entity organization is seeking a Accounting Coordinator to assist with invoice management, data entry, and bookkeeping-related processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with high-volume data, maintaining accurate records, and supporting smooth financial operations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a shared finance inbox, ensuring invoices and documentation are reviewed, tracked, and routed appropriately
- Enter invoices, payments, and supporting data into accounting systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Monitor and reconcile activity across multiple ledgers and schedules
- Investigate discrepancies and variances by reviewing documentation and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors
- Assist with monthly reconciliation tasks and reporting support
- Ensure records are organized, complete, and compliant with internal procedures
- Support accounts payable processes, including:
- Coding and processing invoices
- Assisting with vendor statement reconciliations
- Helping prepare payments (check, ACH, wire, credit card)
- Generate basic reports and summaries for accounting and management teams
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve questions or issues
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc administrative accounting tasks as needed
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounting support, or data entry roles
- Strong attention to detail and comfort managing high volumes of transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or accounting systems a plus
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable in a structured, fast-paced office environment
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
