Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Landscape Estimator to join our dynamic team in Eagle, CO. The Landscape Estimator plays a critical role in the success of our projects by accurately assessing costs and resources needed for landscape construction and maintenance jobs. This position requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with design and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review landscape design plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Calculate quantities and costs of materials, labor, and equipment.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for accurate estimating.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and purchasing teams to finalize bids.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Track and update cost databases and vendor pricing.
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies.

Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in landscape estimating or related field.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and blueprints.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
- Degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Frequent walking, standing, and bending across uneven terrain and active job sites.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Visual acuity to assess site conditions, read plans, and perform measurements accurately.
- Manual dexterity for handling tools, measuring devices, and electronic equipment.
- Driving requirements may include travel between job sites and client meetings.
