- Prepare and review tax filings, compliance reports, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate and timely reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Perform tax reconciliations, fixed asset analyses, and depreciation calculations while maintaining detailed supporting documentation.
- Assist with tax audits by gathering records, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Research tax related issues, identify discrepancies, and support the proper application of tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Partner with accounting, finance, and technology teams to improve tax processes, reporting capabilities, and system efficiency.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 3 years of corporate tax, public accounting, or related tax compliance experience.
- Previous experience with federal, state, and international income tax reporting and compliance activities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with tax preparation or financial systems.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance in a fast paced environment.
- Previous public accounting experience.
- CPA designation is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of tax accounting standards, including ASC 740.
- Prior experience with tax software, ERP systems, fixed asset applications, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
