Position Overview – Assistant Project Manager (Multifamily)
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of ground-up multifamily construction projects, including podium, wrap, and wood-frame developments. This role works closely with the Project Manager and field team to assist with cost control, scheduling, documentation, and subcontractor coordination throughout the construction lifecycle
Key Responsibilities:
Project Support & Coordination
- Support the Project Manager in managing multifamily projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Assist with maintaining project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking
- Help ensure compliance with contract documents and company standards
Cost Control & Documentation
- Assist with change order tracking, cost impacts, and owner billing support
- Support subcontractor buyout, contract execution, and pay application processing
- Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and logs
Subcontractor & Consultant Coordination
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and consultants
- Track RFIs, submittals, and material procurement schedules
- Assist in resolving scope questions and field coordination issue
Quality, Schedule & Closeout Standard
- Partner with field leadership to help maintain schedule and quality standard
- Assist with punch list tracking, closeout documentation, and warranty material
- Support successful project turnover to ownership
Qualification
- 2–4 years of experience supporting multifamily construction projects
- Exposure to ground-up multifamily construction preferred
- Basic understanding of construction contracts, cost controls, and scheduling
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore or similar preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
