Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a representative of the organization’s culture, values, and professional standards on the project site.
- Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment among all project stakeholders, including field personnel, office staff, owners, consultants, inspectors, and trade partners.
- Maintain professional, respectful, and effective communication with all project participants while ensuring appropriate documentation of key discussions and decisions.
- Support Project Management in owner, architect, and contractor (OAC) meetings and other project coordination activities.
- Communicate potential schedule impacts, budget concerns, and project risks to Project Management in a timely manner.
- Ensure projects meet or exceed expectations through proactive oversight of safety, scheduling, quality control, regulatory compliance, and adherence to contract documents.
- Develop and implement material procurement and delivery plans to ensure timely availability of materials and uninterrupted project progress.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and communication of the project schedule, ensuring alignment between field operations and overall project milestones.
- Lead and facilitate weekly project meetings covering topics such as:
- Look-ahead scheduling
- Safety and site compliance
- Quality control
- RFIs and submittals
- Trade coordination
- Site logistics
- Toolbox talks and workforce planning
- Conduct comprehensive plan and specification reviews prior to vertical construction, including:
- Building code compliance
- Accessibility and Fair Housing requirements
- Constructability reviews
- Long-lead procurement items
- Turnover sequencing and jurisdictional requirements
- Egress and life-safety considerations
- Dimensional coordination
- Quality control requirements
- MEP coordination and clash detection
- Identify and document design discrepancies or conflicts through the RFI process prior to construction activities.
- Manage the RFI process from identification through resolution and closeout.
- Oversee the receipt, review, coordination, and approval of project submittals.
- Delegate responsibilities to field staff as appropriate and provide ongoing guidance to ensure schedule, quality, safety, and budget objectives are achieved.
- Champion a proactive safety culture by promoting safe work practices, conducting regular site inspections, and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers to ensure project documentation, reporting, and administrative functions are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain accountability for overall site organization, presentation, and operational efficiency throughout the duration of the project.
Salary : $130,000 - $165,000
