Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals with cardiac, neuro, and telemetry monitoring needs.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide patient and family education on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
- Respond to emergencies and changes in patient status promptly.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent RN acute care experience (within the last 1–2 years) required.
- Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Licensure:
- Florida RN License required, or Compact RN License (must apply for FL license).
- If less than 3 years RN experience and no FL license, must take NCLEX in FL and pass before consideration.
- Certifications:
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS (required).
- NIHSS Certification required within 30 days of hire (must work under NIHSS credentials until obtained).
