Location: Elkins, WV 26241

Duration: 12-week Contract

Shift: 12-hour Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $1,044 - $1,152; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a 12-week night shift contract in Elkins, WV. The LPN will provide direct patient care during the overnight hours, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during the night shift, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
• Document patient care and observations accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate effectively with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment following facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention as appropriate.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in the state of West Virginia.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
