• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to join our healthcare team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. The GNA will provide high-quality care to elderly residents in a long-term care or assisted living facility, supporting their daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Record vital signs, intake and output, and other necessary documentation.
• Follow care plans and report any issues or concerns to licensed staff.
• Assist residents with meals and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
