Pay Rate: $12 - $16/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)

Shift: 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. The CNA will provide high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for all residents and patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents/patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output as directed.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and comfort in patient rooms and common areas.
• Report changes in patient condition to nurses promptly.
• Support patients’ emotional well-being through respectful and compassionate interaction.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the charge nurse or supervisor.
  
  

Qualifications

• Required: CNA license in good standing in Connecticut.
• Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
