Summary
The Human Resources department is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join their team. This position is responsible for overseeing the full employee life cycle with a primary focus on onboarding, offboarding and record management of non-professional staff.
Responsibilities
- Manages the employee life cycle including but not limited to; posting and tracking vacant positions, extending employment offers, hiring, onboarding, conducting orientations, processing transfers and coordinating offboarding of staff.
- Serve as the liaison between new hires and internal departments to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience.
- Maintain personnel files in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations, ensuring accuary, organization and confidentiality.
- Organize and update a wide variety of manual and electronic records (e.g., contracts, applications, salary records, certifications, evaluations, grievances, hearings, legal documentation, etc.) to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Track and maintain records related to tenure, stipends, induction mentors, and completion of induction programs.
- Respond to inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing accurate information or referring to appropriate personnel.
- Process payroll notifications for professional staff including new hires, resignations, and transfers.
- Support daily administrative tasks and functions of the HR department.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of human resources experience, with a focus on high-volume onboarding preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, multitask effectively, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
