Reporting to the VP of People & Culture, the HR Onboarding Coordinator manages the onboarding process for new team members while supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the Team Services department. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience by coordinating pre-employment requirements, maintaining accurate personnel records, and supporting compliance with personnel file requirements.

What You'll Do
Coordinate the onboarding process from offer acceptance through the team member's first day.
Manage pre-employment requirements, including background checks, references, licensure verification, and required documentation.
Process new hire paperwork and maintain accurate personnel records within the HRIS.
Maintain electronic personnel files and ensure documentation is complete and compliant with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
Coordinate onboarding communications and partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers, to ensure a smooth transition for new team members.
Audit onboarding documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive team member information.
Support Team Services projects, and other HR initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
Previous experience in an office, administrative, customer service, recruiting, or HR environment or a recent college graduate with demonstrated organizational and administrative skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn HR systems and new technology.
Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise sound judgment.
Positive, customer-focused attitude with strong follow-through.
Preferred
Experience with onboarding, or HR administration.
Experience working within an HRIS or maintaining electronic personnel records.
Experience in healthcare, senior living, or another regulated environment.
