Central Coast Urgent Care, Inc. is seeking a part-time clerical assistant to assist with workers' compensation and other administrative duties. The right candidate must be computer literate, work efficiently, independently, and upbeat while maintaining attention to detail. Under direct and indirect supervision, answer inquiries and obtain information for workers' compensation patients and other relevant parties. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills.
Requirements:
One-year of experience in medical office environment is required and prior experience in workers' compensation is a plus.
Ability to prioritize and organize work area.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards.
Excellent interpersonal and phone skills with the ability to interact with employers, insurance adjusters, patients and medical providers.
Demonstrate a professional attitude and appearance.
Proficiency in keyboarding skills and experience with electronic medical records a plus.
Must be flexible and understand that job duties and schedule may change from time to time.
