Position Summary:
The NP/PA will provide comprehensive clinical care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with urgent care needs and work-related injuries. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with urgent care conditions and workers’ compensation injuries
- Perform physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to support clinical decision-making
- Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as indicated
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Stay current with medical advancements, clinical guidelines, and best practices
- Adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and professional standards
Qualifications:
- Current and active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of California
- Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or occupational health preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
