Employee Records & HRIS
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (PayCor), including personnel changes, status updates, and onboarding data.
- Process Personnel Change Forms for position, department, supervisor, wage, and status updates.
- Assist with filing documents in personnel files (paper and electronic) per CDD guidelines.
- Track documentation and process memos for missing or incomplete personnel file items.
- Assist with benefits tracking for full-time employees; update benefit enrollment data as needed.
- Support the HR team with payroll-related data entry and recordkeeping as directed.
- Complete employee referral bonus paperwork and related processing.
- Perform customer service functions by responding to employee requests and questions in a timely, professional manner.
- Prepare correspondence including reference letters, employment verifications, and unemployment protest letters.
- Track and update evaluation information; distribute monthly evaluation reports to management staff.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department including copying, faxing, scanning, and document management.
- Assist with coordinating HR-related events, activities, and recognition programs.
- Support HR reporting and KPI tracking as directed by the HR Manager or HR Director.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED; associate's or bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
- Minimum one year of administrative or office support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience with PayCor or a similar HRIS platform.
- Experience in a human services, nonprofit, or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with HR functions including onboarding, benefits, and personnel records.
- Pay: $22.87/hour
- Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
- Work Setting: On-site, Kansas City, MO
- Travel: Occasional travel within the metropolitan area as needed
