We have been doing this for over 50 years with the goal of adding 50 more in our sight. Speaking of goals, CDD offers incentives based on meeting agency-wide goals as well as differentials for homes that are behavioral, high medical needs, and for shifts that occur on Saturday and Sunday. Responsibilities
- Provide safe and reliable transportation services for developmentally disabled individuals
- Assist individuals with entering and exiting the vehicle
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and staff
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of mileage and services provided
- Valid Class E in Missouri or Class C in Kansas driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, the role is mainly Monday-Friday 8:30 to 3:30
