We are seeking a Visual Merchandising Communications Coordinator to lead the execution and oversight of all Secondary visual merchandising. In this role, you will be the primary guardian of in-store standards, ensuring that every display aligns with our brand integrity and broader business goals. You aren't just coordinating; you are a key decision-maker responsible for the planning and implementation of high-impact promotional strategies.
As a central connector, you will enforce rigorous timelines and partner with brands and cross-functional teams to streamline communication and resolve operational challenges. Responsibilities:
- Lead collaboration with merchants and cross-functional teams to execute visual merchandising strategies that align with corporate goals and brand vision. Manage promo areas from concept, to deliverables to directives.
- Oversee the Monday.com board to track and manage all sign requests and ensure smooth coordination between teams. Ensure the board is up to date with accurate information on graphic tracking, artwork approvals, and store execution.
- Manage and make strategic decisions regarding product sample requests, displayers, and visual elements to ensure that store sets align with VM and objectives. Ensure all displayers fit on designated fixture and work with fixture vendors when applicable. Approve installation guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in the execution of visual standards: Maintain oversight on the alignment of visual displays with brand guidelines and the overall store experience, ensuring a cohesive look across all stores.
- Cross-departmental collaboration with Space Planning, Marketing, and Store Operations teams to ensure accurate product information, merchandising planograms, and seamless implementation of store set details.
- Manage POG Exceptions. Approve planogram exceptions through Monday.com and make necessary changes in the Promo Planner.
- Undergraduate degree or 4 years of relevant experience in a retail or visual merchandising environment.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in merchandising, visual marketing, or related fields, with a proven track record of leadership and decision-making within the visual merchandising space.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and optimize processes for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, negotiate with vendors, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).
- Must travel to Bolingbrook office bi-weekly and have the ability to work and set in mock store.
