CEIS | Clover Leaf is looking for an Energy Marshal to support a hyperscale data center construction project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role is responsible for the safe control, coordination, and oversight of electrical energy across all phases of construction, commissioning, and energization. The Energy Marshal will act as the primary authority for lockout/tagout (LOTO) implementation and will ensure all electrical work is performed safely, in accordance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and client-specific energy safety protocols. This position plays a critical role in preventing electrical incidents by ensuring strict adherence to safe work practices and energization procedures.

Responsibilities
- Lead all lockout/tagout (LOTO) activities across the construction site; ensure compliance with project-specific energy control plans.
- Act as the single point of contact for energy control coordination between trades, subcontractors, commissioning agents, and owner representatives.
- Oversee electrical permitting, de-energization plans, energized work authorizations, and safe re-energization sequences.
- Coordinate walkdowns, energy audits, and pre-energization meetings with construction and commissioning teams.
- Verify field conditions and enforce procedural controls prior to the energization of panels, switchgear, UPS systems, and other electrical infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate LOTO documentation, control logs, and field communication related to all electrical energy work.
- Identify and mitigate unsafe electrical work practices; stop work as necessary to maintain site safety.
- Ensure all energy work follows NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910/1926, and site-specific client safety standards.
- Train or guide site personnel in energy safety expectations, LOTO procedures, and safe work practices.
- Support incident investigations and root cause analysis related to electrical energy events or near misses.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and collaborate with the general contractor and owners safety team.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in electrical safety or commissioning roles in mission-critical environments.
- Strong working knowledge of LOTO protocols, NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910/1926, and electrical safety best practices.
- Prior experience on large-scale data center, hospital, semiconductor, or power infrastructure projects.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and field leadership skills.
- Experience working with commissioning teams, contractors, and owner reps in complex, multi-trade environments.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, and construction documents.
