My client is currently looking for a Senior Plumbing Project Manager to support major commercial projects in the Phoenix area. They're a strong full-service mechanical contractor that has been serving the state of Arizona for 40 years with many active projects in the pipeline right now and a strong backlog for future growth. They specialize in commercial, healthcare, education, hospitality, and mixed-use projects. They have a strong reputation in the Phoenix area and have won many awards for their work and culture!
What you will be doing:
- Lead and manage commercial plumbing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance.
- Organize and coordinate project team activities to ensure successful project execution.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor proposals and assist with contract and LOI preparation.
- Monitor project progress, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Conduct regular site visits to evaluate project status, quality, and safety compliance.
- Support drafting and design teams throughout the construction process.
- Coordinate labor resources, project schedules, and workloads across multiple projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for project team members.
- Approximately 70% office-based and 30% field-based.
What you need for this position:
- 5 years of experience in plumbing and/or mechanical construction project management.
- Proven experience managing commercial plumbing projects valued at $1M .
- Estimating experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with healthcare, educational, institutional, or public-sector projects is a plus.
