Shift hours:
Split shift: 12:30 pm – 9:30 pm (10% shift differential on top of base pay)
Qualifications:
Job Summary:
Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates the behaviors of punctuality, regular attendance, professionalism towards supervisors and co-workers, and self-directed task completion.
- Maintains clean work area.
- Must comply with all departmental SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), company GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), Employee Handbook Policies, including attendance, and all safety rules and standards.
- Works normal shift hours and overtime as required.
- Coordinates efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers in all departments to maximize production efficiencies as needed.
- Must have the ability to read a standard ruler to 1/32" and a metric ruler to 1 mm.
- Trains co-workers and new hires to set up, operate and use equipment.
- Routinely inspects product from all presses checking for quality and to ensure product conforms to customer specifications and workmanship on a continuous basis through an audit program.
- Creates and sends COC and COA via emails to customers.
- Logs on to customers' portal and enters data for corrective actions, COC, etc. (any and all necessary documentation).
- Responsible for maintaining current and purging out-dated QC Jackets.
- Performs audits of each department.
- Updates and revises Shared Drive files for each department.
- Performs training with all employees on GMP's and SOP's.
- Communicates with vendors on raw materials returns and defects, as well as specific customer interface.
- Performs testing of raw materials and verifies components.
- Operates testing equipment, such as southerland, peel, loop-tack, espec and q-sun, as well as hand-held measuring devices.
- Maintains all testing equipment by performing routine maintenance, cleaning and the scheduling of outside calibration.
- Issues and follows up on CCR's while assisting Quality Manager on investigating and providing resolution.
- Works with sales force on any technical issues.
- Reviews quality defects for approval of work orders.
- Prepares for customer audits.
- Understands and reviews testing standardization of commercial use.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of related experience.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, dust, chemicals and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
