Operates equipment to separate printed product and the matrix to customer specifications.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates the behaviors of punctuality, regular attendance, professionalism towards supervisors and co-workers, and self-directed task completion.
- Maintains clean work area.
- Must comply with all departmental SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), company GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), Employee Handbook Policies, including attendance, and all safety rules and standards.
- Works normal shift hours and overtime as required.
- Coordinates efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers in all departments to maximize production efficiencies as needed.
- Must have the ability to read a standard ruler to 1/32" and a metric ruler to 1 mm.
- Trains co-workers and new hires to set up, operate and use equipment.
- General knowledge and understanding of the die cutting processes and equipment.
- Set-up print and die cut sections of blank-separator in accordance with proper setup techniques.
- Read job tickets to determine setup specifications and instructions.
- Observe and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
- Installs tooling into blank-separator machinery (cutting, waste removal, blank separation tooling and templates).
- Follow all standard operating procedures relevant to the job, position and department.
- Performs routine adjustments during the blanking process and maintains production throughout the run.
- Performs all assigned work effectively and on schedule.
- Follows instructions accurately.
- Maintains records of daily production, using specified forms and data tracking systems.
- Opens machines and removes/replaces damaged product, using hand tools.
- Trains co-workers and new hires to set up, operate and use machines.
- Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance and trouble shooting.
- Coordinates efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers (in all departments) as needed to maximize production efficiencies.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear.
Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 125 pounds.
Requires constant movement and bending.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, dust, chemicals and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
