Interim Accounting Controller | B2B Distributor - Industrial Safety
Lawrenceville, GA (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed B2B distributor operating across multiple entities and warehouse locations nationwide. They’re adding an Interim Accounting Controller to support continued expansion.
This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO
What you'll own
- Lead month-end and year-end close across multiple entities
- Manage consolidations, intercompany activity, and eliminations
- Oversee inventory accounting, costing, and margin analysis
- Deliver consolidated financials and management reporting to the CFO
- Lead and develop a team (staff accountants, AR/AP, bookkeepers
- Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls
What we’re looking for:
- 8 years of accounting experience, including team leadership
- On-site 2-3 days a week preferrable
- Background in distribution, wholesale, or inventory-heavy environments
- Strong experience with multi-entity consolidation & intercompany
- Solid GAAP foundation and internal controls mindset
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
Nice to have:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Experience in a private equity-backed company
