Summary:
The LTC Facility Nursing Scheduler is a member of the LTC Facility Nursing Administration Team whose primary responsibility is to understand and maintain the LTC Facility Nursing scheduling system and how it relates and interfaces with the other LTC Facility departments.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma required
• College level course work in healthcare or technical field preferred

EXPERIENCE

• Six (6) months data entry experience required
• One (1) year experience in health related field preferred
• Previous health care scheduling experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish good working relationships with LTC facility staff, residents and visitors at all levels
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and pressure and arrange priorities
• Self motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail
