As the Domestic Violence Shelter Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through: Â
- Receive calls during office hours for shelter screenings and client questions.Â
- Complete intake and discharge process for all clients
- Identify available resources.Â
- Provide referrals and linkages to other community agencies as appropriate.
- Support clients in implementing their plans. Â Â Â Â
- Develop safety plans for clients

Domestic Violence Shelter Advocate Minimum Salary: $20.00
Domestic Violence Shelter Advocate Maximum Salary: $24.00
Domestic Violence Shelter Advocate Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM (35 hrs/week) *Subject to call*Â

Qualifications: Â
High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree in related field preferred
1 year or less of experience working in human services or relevant work experience
VALID NYS Driver's license
