What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Recruiter position at Catalyst Partners?
We are currently partnering with a PE-backed high growth global fintech firm, to hire a Recruiter to join on a 3-month FTC. The view is to convert this individual into a full-time HR Associate following their initial contract with the business. Initially, this position will be 100% focused on Talent Acquisition due to the volume of growth, managing around 10–15 roles at any given time. However once converted into a full-time permanent role, your responsibilities would expand to cover the full HR Generalist remit, including HR Business Partner work.
You will be reporting directly into the HRD, with access to C-suite and senior management across the business.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting
- Post job openings and source candidates
- Review resumes and run 1st round screening
- Coordinate interview scheduling
- Partner closely with hiring managers
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process
- Learn and utilize Rippling for recruiting (prior experience is a plus but not required)
- Contribute to process improvements in talent acquisition workflows
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Prior recruiting experience required (either in-house in TA or Generalist HR, or from an agency)
- Background in tech, engineering, fintech, or financial services preferred
- Experience with Technical Recruiting is a plus, but not essential
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with ATS (Rippling experience is a bonus but not required)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Desire to transition into an HR Generalist role long-term
Location & Schedule: Hybrid – NYC; Monday–Thursday office days (2-3 days a week)
Salary : $40 - $60
