HR Assistant-Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Third Shift

 RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of all employee data and issues arriving at the HR office.
• Performs administrative functions of HR, including attendance, payroll, ID badges, etc.
• Delivers accurate and timely feedback to employees regarding any inquiries made.
• Prepares and processes employee documentation - assists with/prepares correspondence, prepares new employee files, processes mail.
• Maintains personnel records (hard copy, HRIS, and electronic); Ensures that information is current.
• Helps the HR Department coordinate and organize employee events throughout the year.
• Fosters Company culture through constant contact with employees - Intakes and routes employees’ issues, escalating problematic issues to higher-level management.
• Routes phone calls to the appropriate parties.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Office/HR roles.
• Bilingual – Spanish/English preferred.
• Knowledge of office administration procedures and computer systems (Word, Excel, Ultipro, and Kronos).
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written; Edits/proofs work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and can read and interpret written information.
• Attention to detail in composing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills - Ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Planning: organizational and prioritization skills; plans work activities well; uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans; excellent multitasking and scheduling.
• Quality: demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
