Packer/Picker

Job Summary:

Packer pulls and stacks products based on daily orders. Meets specifics of customer orders in timely manner Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation. Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues. Receives and process incoming inventory. They also manage and organize products according to store policy to ensure the availability of customers’ requested items.

This position is responsible for:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

· Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

· Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.

· Complete diary logs into inventory

· Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.

· Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

· Support the other departments if need it.

· Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker

· Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

· Good organizational and time management skills

· Ability to lift heavy objects.

· Forklift Experience (is a plus)

· High school degree

· Maintain a clean & safe environment.

· Detail oriented as a must.

· Must be high performance team player and be willing to work in a dynamic, growing, demanding and fast-paced environment.

· Frequently lift up to 25 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time.

· Mare sure to follow the procedures stablished.

· Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk . The employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications:

· High school Diploma

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Must be able to communicate effectively.

· More than 6 months of experience.

. Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.

Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
