Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Operate the point of sale cash register accurately for guest transactions
- Receive, organize, and input inventory shipments for resale
- Place orders for products as needed to maintain stock levels
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the marina ship store
- Assist marina guests with docking their boat
- Assist with the fueling of boats
- Aid in boat pump-out services
- Manage incoming phone calls and VHF radio communications, ensuring messages are accurately recorded and relayed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all marina facilities
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills to enhance guest experiences
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including working Weekends and all summer holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable working around water, docks, and marine equipment.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required, including life vests, gloves, and safety footwear.
- Primarily field-based at marina and waterfront facilities.
- Exposure to water, weather, noise, and marine equipment.
- Occasional office work for scheduling, reporting, and communication.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Employment in this role may be contingent upon the successful completion of certain pre-employment requirements, which could include a background check, drug screen, or driving record review, depending on the position
