Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional front desk experience.
- Manage reservations using property management systems (PMS), including OPERA or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems, offering prompt solutions and information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests swiftly and effectively.
- Conduct night audits to reconcile daily transactions, ensuring financial accuracy and reporting compliance.
- Enforce hotel emergency procedures to maintain safety for all guests and staff during incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, complaints, and resolutions to enhance service quality and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or property management systems (PMS).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly and professionally.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for handling inquiries via phone and in person.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and guest relations best practices.
- Previous resort experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in various hospitality environments.
