What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creative Project Manager position at Carnegie Search?
About the job
The Company produces major business conferences and expos every month across multiple industries. Each event requires a high volume of deliverables — graphics, schedules, signage, speaker materials, vendor deadlines, internal tasks, and operational timelines.
We are looking for an exceptionally organized, schedule-driven, highly structured Project Manager to oversee both the creative production workflow and the general event operations workflow. This role ensures that every task, asset, and deadline is executed on time and at a high standard.
This is a management and accountability role; you will coordinate between designers, marketing, vendors, internal teams, and event leadership to make sure every detail is completed properly and nothing falls through the cracks.
Responsibilities:
Build and manage full event timelines and production schedules.
Assign tasks to team members and hold them accountable to deadlines.
Oversee the graphics workflow: speaker promos, sponsor announcements, schedules, signage, booth maps, etc.
Review and quality-check all graphics and event materials for accuracy.
Track all deliverables (creative, operations, vendors, speakers, sponsors).
Maintain organized workflows in Monday.com or similar tools.
Coordinate between designers, marketing, operations, and leadership to ensure priority tasks are completed.
Run regular progress check-ins and proactively resolve delays or issues.
Keep all event details, deadlines, and tasks organized and moving.
Ensure brand standards and event requirements are followed across all materials.
What You Must Bring:
Extremely strong organization and time-management skills.
A schedule-oriented mindset and the ability to manage many deadlines at once.
A managerial, confident personality — comfortable leading and holding people accountable.
High-level multitasking ability across multiple events and deliverables.
Experience in project management (events, creative, marketing, or agency).
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
