HVAC Project Manager

Overview:

George Sherman Corp. is hiring for the position of HVAC Project Manager. This is primarily a sales position with the goal of growing the total revenue of the department with quality residential retrofit installations and light commercial projects. In addition to sales this position also requires a level of providing field support and cooperation with other departments. This opportunity will allow qualified individuals to grow and enjoy a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 Year experience in the HVAC field (Preferably with experience in residential installations and service)
• Experience in Customer Service with good Communication Skills - Positive Attitude with Willingness to learn new skills
• Pass a Criminal Background Check
• Pass a DOT drug test
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Experience with Excel and other Microsoft based programs a plus

Job Description:

• Attend Sales appointments scheduled by the office with the goal of advising clients and potential clients on HVAC solutions that fit their home and provide ideal comfort (Some appointments set for evenings and weekends) Closing rate to meet or exceed 45% overall
• Create Customized Proposals for each client using Excel Pricing Tool Facilitate Collection of total Balance for projects ASAP and no later than within 60 days of installation completion
• Provide Installation Coordinator and field with information needed to successfully complete projects including detailed notes and pictures via job folders
• Be cognizant of Applicable Manufacturer or State Rebates and apply properly
• Apply for and secure permits for municipalities that require them. Ensure all systems sold and purchased are properly sized and appropriate for the home it is spec’d for.
• Verify AHRI system compatibility
• Represent the company well in Appearance (Vehicle, Dress & Grooming) and Presentation (Detailed Scope, Educating Customer, Listening Skills)
• Post Project Completion Follow-Up, continue to create a positive customer experience and provide a Referral Worthy Experience.
