Carlyle Senior Care of Florence is a long-term care and skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional resident-centered care. We are seeking compassionate, skilled, and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team.
Position Summary
The LPN/RN is responsible for providing nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, care plans, facility policies, and state and federal regulations. The nurse supervises nursing assistants, administers medications and treatments, and ensures residents receive high-quality care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assess residents and monitor changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
- Document nursing care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
- Provide wound care and other specialized treatments as ordered.
- Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in health status.
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and resident care conferences.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
Qualifications LPN Requirements
- Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of SC.
- Current CPR certification.
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
RN Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of SC.
- Current CPR certification.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
