Carlton Fields is seeking a Real Estate Project Manager for its Atlanta office.
Job Summary And Objectives
The Real Estate Project Manager will work closely with the real estate practice group owning complex real estate transactions. This position will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of commercial real estate transactionsfrom initial deal intake through closing and post-closingwhile coordinating with attorneys, clients, title companies, lenders, and other third-party professionals.
The Real Estate Project Manager is expected to take a hands-on approach to accomplishing operating objectives and to take responsibility for the overall delivery of closing documents. In addition, the Real Estate Project Manager will participate to review the practice groups processes, make recommendations, and implementation of new/updated processes and procedures.
Duties
Assist attorneys and senior team members with various aspects of commercial real estate transactions, from intake through closing
Support the coordination of transaction timelines and deliverables across multiple active matters
Draft, edit, and review legal documents and correspondence
Manage the workflow and timelines for various commercial deals and transactions
Assist in preparing closing checklists and tracking completion of closing conditions and deliverables
Review and organize due diligence materials, including title, survey, and other third-party documents
Facilitate communication and information flow between internal teams, clients, and third parties such as title companies and lenders
Ensure all transactions comply with local, state, and federal real estate laws, zoning ordinances, and internal processes
All other duties as assigned
Education/Experience
Bachelors degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years working with commercial real estate
Minimum 7 years working in a law firm
Actual salaries will vary depending upon various factors, including relevant experience and skillset. The salary range listed is just one component of the Carlton Fields total compensation package for employees. Other monetary rewards include annual discretionary bonuses based on performance and profit-sharing contributions based on eligibility and firm profitability.
