Job Summary
The Womens Head Wrestling Coach will lead the NJCAA Women's Wrestling Program, overseeing all aspects of the team including recruiting, scheduling, budgeting, fundraising, practice, match days, camps, and gym rentals.
Main Responsibilities
- Direct all phases of the program, ensuring a high level of success and student-athlete satisfaction.
- Recruit talented student-athletes, fostering a positive team environment and promoting academic excellence.
- Collaborate with Enrollment Management to provide academic advising and orientation sessions for team members.
- Assist other sports with game-day management duties as needed.
- Pursue professional development opportunities through State and Regional organizations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required; minimum 5 years coaching experience at the HS, NJCAA, NAIA, or NCAA College level preferred.
- Current AED, CPR, and First Aid Certification (or willingness to acquire within the first month).
- Able to coach the sport while prioritizing athlete education.
- Clean driving record, CDL preferred but not required.
