Job Title:
Head Wrestling Coach
Responsibilities:
- Direct all phases of the NJCAA Men's Wrestling Program, including recruiting, scheduling, budgeting, fundraising, practice, match days, camps, and campus gym rentals.
- Ensure player conduct is in line with CASC Policies & Procedures, Student Handbook, and Athletic Handbook by reporting and administering discipline as necessary.
- Assist student-athletes in securing proper documentation through Admissions, Financial Aid, and NJCAA.
- Support other sports with Game Day Management duties during and out of season.
- Collaborate with Enrollment Management for team academic advising sessions and orientation.
- Participate professionally in State and Regional organizations, such as the Oklahoma coaches Association and NJCCA Region II.
- Perform other duties assigned by the VP for Student Affairs/Athletic Director.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum 5 years coaching experience at HS, NJCAA, NAIA, or NCAA College level, with notable individual and team achievements.
- AED, CPR, and First Aid Certification (or willingness to acquire within first month of employment).
- Ability to balance coaching with a focus on athlete education.
- Clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
