Role: Per diem Registered Nurse - First Assist, providing intraoperative support in the Operating Room to ensure safe and successful surgical procedures.

- Perform first assisting roles independently alongside surgeons.
- Assist with room setup and teardown to optimize patient flow.
- Maintain hemostasis through direct pressure, instrument use, sutures, ligatures, or chemical agents under surgeon supervision.
- Administer local anesthetics intraoperatively and assist with surgical technical functions.
- Current Nevada nursing license and OR certification (CNOR) from AORN.
- CRNFA or RNAS-C certification, maintained current.
- CPR/BLS certification; ACLS and PALS if applicable.
- Experience in surgical assisting; knowledge of intraoperative procedures.
- Ability to function interdependently with surgical team within legal scope.
- Assist surgeons intraoperatively to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Support surgical team in maintaining sterile environment and efficient workflow.
- Contribute to patient safety through technical skill and knowledge.
