Registered Nurse - Labor and Birth

Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process, evaluating care effectiveness, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This role upholds patient rights, maintains confidentiality, and aligns with organizational mission and standards.

Unit Focus: The Labor & Birth unit offers compassionate care to mothers and newborns, from low-risk to high-risk cases, supported by a highly collaborative, faith-based environment with advanced clinical expertise and a strong staffing ratio of 3-1:1.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, NRP, PALS) based on unit needs
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed
