Role Overview: The Senior Healthcare Contracts Specialist leads the drafting, negotiation, and management of complex commercial agreements, serving as a strategic partner to internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: Independently draft, review, and negotiate contracts such as master services, vendor, HIPAA Business Associate, and non-disclosure agreements. Analyze and resolve routine contractual issues, escalate high-risk matters to Legal, collaborate across departments to ensure timely contract execution, and contribute to improving contracting processes and templates. Maintain accurate contract records and support contract lifecycle management systems.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience in drafting and managing complex contracts. Strong negotiation, legal interpretation, and risk assessment skills. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and contract management platforms. Healthcare industry experience, especially with payer, provider, or data-sharing agreements, is a plus. A legal or contract management certification is advantageous.
