Role Overview: The Crisis & Referral Specialist provides telephonic crisis intervention, assessment, and support to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities: Handle inbound calls, texts, and chats to evaluate safety risks, develop action plans, and connect individuals to appropriate resources.
Perform safety screenings, document interactions accurately, and coordinate with agencies to optimize support.
Ensure compliance with regulations such as HIPAA and OSHA.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum high school diploma and 1 year of behavioral health or crisis experience; a BS/BA in a related field and two years of direct work preferred.
Experience in call centers or crisis services is advantageous.
Work Environment: Virtual, full-time with required in-person training, supporting flexible schedules across all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
