Seeking an Associate Attorney or Partner to join the General Liability/Medical Malpractice group in our Scranton, PA office. The role involves
- handling a wide range of general liability defense litigation matters
- analyzing complex legal and factual issues with thorough research
- drafting pleadings, responding to discovery, taking depositions, and participating in arbitrations and trials
- communicating effectively with clients, courts, witnesses, and counsel while meeting all deadlines
- traveling for court and client meetings as needed
- working on-site in Scranton, PA
- 8 years of experience in liability defense, preferably in general liability; medical malpractice experience is a plus
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- active PA bar license in good standing
- strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- excellent communication abilities
- interest in liability defense
