Morales Professional Services is currently partnering with a manufacturing client to help them find a Contract Electrical CAD Designer for their operations in Henderson, NV. These projects are onsite in Henderson, NV
Scope of Work:
- Review and understand P&ID’s. Review functional specifications.
- Calculate loads and size components accordingly.
- Update drawings from redlines.
- Design electrical panels to UL and/or CE requirements.
- Create interconnect drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Create accurate bills of materials for required components.
- Assemble shop drawing packages.
- Create drawing packages that will be used for constructing panels and equipment installations.
- Accurately document hours worked on all projects.
- Answer questions from shop personnel.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Follow Lean manufacturing utilizing tools such as Kaizens, 5S, RIE’s and other work area standards.
Qualifications:
High School or GED. Associates preferred. Working knowledge of electrical design using AutoDesk Inventor, SolidWorks or similar program. Experience in design and detail panels to UL standards.
Salary : $35 - $45
