SUMMARY:
Seeking to hire six(6) Controls Engineers to design, develop, and start up industrial control systems used for automating manufacturing equipment in a production environment. They are responsible for the startup and troubleshooting of equipment at the customer sites. Controls Engineers will use P&IDs, scope documents, functional descriptions, and electrical prints to both write & edit PLC code and HMI Systems. They will write complete project scopes, maintain schedule and watch budget status, design and perform test procedures, and be responsible for supervising on-site installation and commissioning.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will use P&IDs, scope documents, functional descriptions, and electrical prints to both write & edit PLC code and HMI Systems.
- Mentor junior controls engineers and controls technicians.
- Review P&IDs and interact with Engineering Department personnel.
- Write complete project scopes, maintain schedules and watch budget status, design and perform test procedures.
- Responsible for supervising on-site installation and commissioning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5 years of relevant experience. Background in the following technologies:
- I/O checkout & control system commissioning
- Siemens Step 7 in TIA Portal & associated PLC and I/O Hardware or Rockwell Studio 5000 and associated AB PLC and I/O hardware
- Siemens S120 and G120C Drives
- AB Powerflex 755 Drives
- Ignition Perspective or Vision
These positions can be filled either Direct with the company, or through long-term contract. Positions can be housed in 1 of 4 locations... Terre Haute, IN, Lebanon, or Henderson, NV
or Wake Forest, NC
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
