Our client, a luxury fragrance and lifestyle brand, is looking for a temp to perm HR Coordinator! You will be supporting key HR operations, including HRIS management, recruiting, reporting, and onboarding.
This assignment starts asap with potential for permanent hire if the right fit.
Location: Midtown
Hours: 9am – 5pm
*Hybrid schedule
Responsibilities:
- Administer HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Manage onboarding/offboarding, including records, system updates, and compliance documentation
- Process employee lifecycle changes (promotions, transfers, terminations) and communicate updates cross-functionally
- Generate and maintain HR reports (headcount, turnover, compliance)
- Draft and distribute offer letters, contracts, and pre-employment documents
- Partner with IT and Operations on onboarding logistics (equipment, system access)
- Coordinate onboarding and deliver a seamless new hire experience
- Conduct orientations and support system setup/training
- Manage exit interviews and offboarding, ensuring timely task completion (e.g., access removal, final pay)
- Analyze HR data and generate reports (quarterly and ad hoc) to support decision-making
- Partner with HRBPs to ensure compliance and support rollout of policies, processes, and trainings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of experience in HR operations, recruiting, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems; experience with [specific systems] a plus
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and reporting tools
- Experience supporting IT onboarding/offboarding processes
- Knowledge of HR compliance and best practices
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
