Operations Manager – Luxury Retail

Our client, an emerging luxury fine jewelry maison, is seeking an experienced and highly polished Operations Manager to oversee the launch and operational execution of a new flagship boutique in the Miami Design District while supporting future U.S. expansion initiatives. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this individual will play a critical role in translating brand vision into exceptional operational execution across boutique development, retail operations, hospitality, compliance, and client experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all operational aspects of flagship boutique openings, including construction coordination, vendor management, permitting, inspections, compliance, and opening readiness
- Oversee operational infrastructure including POS systems, IT setup, security systems, telecom, facilities, and back-office operations
- Develop and implement operational SOPs, inventory controls, scheduling systems, and daily retail procedures
- Manage boutique operational standards across hospitality, packaging, merchandising support, client experience, and facilities management
- Coordinate fixture installations, showcases, lighting, visual merchandising support, and branded collateral replenishment
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership, vendors, contractors, and retail teams to ensure seamless operational execution
- Support launch events, VIP experiences, and in-store activations from an operational perspective
- Oversee security protocols, vault readiness, inventory controls, compliance audits, and emergency procedures
- Build scalable operational processes to support future retail expansion initiatives
Qualifications
- 15 years of luxury retail operations leadership experience
- Proven experience supporting flagship openings within luxury retail, jewelry, fashion, hospitality, or premium consumer brands
- Strong project management and operational execution capabilities
- Experience managing construction coordination, compliance, vendor relationships, and store development timelines
- Deep understanding of luxury retail operating standards and white-glove client experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Polished executive presence with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
