Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our diagnostic services by assisting with cardiovascular procedures and ensuring the smooth coordination of patient care. This is a dynamic opportunity for certified MAs who enjoy hands-on patient interaction in a fast-paced specialty environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform technically correct stress tests
Establish intravenous access in patients
Assist with patient prep and recovery for procedures
Support physicians during vein procedures
Coordinate diagnostic appointments and enter data into the EMR
Maintain a professional and compassionate approach with patients at all times
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Certification:
Active certification as NCMA, CMA (AAMA), or RMA required
Previous Medical Assistant experience in a clinical or diagnostic setting
Skills & Abilities:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable in a procedure-focused, patient-facing role
