Clinical Support Medical Assistant

Cardiovascular Medicine, PLLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Clinical Support Team in Davenport and Moline. This is an excellent opportunity to build a stable and rewarding career in a professional medical environment—with no nights, weekends, or holidays!   Key Responsibilities: Clinical & Administrative Support Work collaboratively with nurses and providers to support clinic flow Coordinate provider schedules and manage patient appointments Schedule diagnostic tests and procedures Handle incoming/outgoing calls professionally and accurately Process medication refills, prior authorizations, and patient assistance requests   Documentation & Records Document effectively and accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Route incoming mail and correspondence to appropriate staff Complete FMLA and disability paperwork in a timely manner   Team Collaboration & Flexibility Contribute to a patient-centered environment by supporting daily clinic operations Assist with cross-coverage and other duties as needed   Qualifications & Requirements: Education & Experience Active certification as one of the following is required: NCMA, CMA (AAMA), RMA, or CCMA Previous experience as a Medical Assistant required Grace period provided to obtain BCLS/ACLS certification if enrolled in the next CVM-hosted training   Skills & Abilities Strong communication and customer service skills Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Positive attitude and patient-focused mindset Comfortable working with computers and modern medical software   Benefits: Monday–Friday Schedule – Enjoy work-life balance with no nights or weekends Comprehensive insurance benefits package (health, dental, EAP, 401K) Earned Time Off (ETO) Career Development Opportunities within a respected and growing practice Collaborative Work Environment that values compassionate care   Pay Range: $19.50 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience Cardiovascular Medicine, PLLC is proud to be the largest and most comprehensive cardiovascular care provider in Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.
