What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ancillary Scheduling Specialist position at Cardiovascular Medicine PLLC?
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule diagnostic tests from outside referral physician offices timely, efficiently and accurately obtaining necessary information per testing requirements
Place reminder calls for all diagnostic procedures
Enter pertinent data in the electronic medical record
Verify appropriate documentation is available in patient’s chartprior to study/procedure
Assist with departmental no-show logs
Utilize effective documentation skills within the electronic medical record
Preserve the integrity and confidentiality of all patient information, by limiting access of internal and external PHI to what is specifically necessary, and sharing PHI only when required during the performance of job duties
Assist with coordination of diagnostic patient schedules
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Completion of High School education or GED is required. Previous reception or medical office experience is preferred.
Bilingual a plus.

Pay Range: $16.48 - $22.50/hr Based on experience
