Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction & Check-In:
Greet patients and verify personal and insurance information.
Enter and update patient details in the practice management system.
Answer questions regarding general procedures and direct inquiries appropriately.
Scheduling & Check-Out:
Maintain and manage physician schedules.
Schedule and reschedule patient appointments, diagnostics, and follow-ups.
Complete the check-out process, including annual recalls and future visits.
Phone Communication & Support:
Handle incoming and outgoing calls in a courteous and professional manner.
Schedule consults and appointments, take messages, and route calls as needed.
Financial Transactions:
Explain CVMs financial policies to patients.
Request co-payments and collect outstanding balances.
Post personal payments and reconcile daily receipts.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience:
1 year of experience in a medical office or receptionist setting recommended.
Familiarity with scheduling systems and basic billing is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Proficient in basic computer and office technology.
